The Secretariat Birthplace Tours show visitors the Virginia farm that produced an American legend...Triple Crown champion Secretariat! Your narrated tram tour takes you to the original barns, now listed on the state and national historic registers, where "Big Red" was born, raised and first trained. You'll stroll through stately Meadow Hall and see the Meadow Champion Galleries, Triple Crown Room and the collections of rare Meadow Stable memorabilia. Meet a real descendant of Secretariat and learn how the great Thoroughbred's bloodlines live on today. Author/historian Leeanne Meadows Ladin narrates the tours and will sign her books in the Meadow Gift Shop. Tours are offered weekdays and weekends by reservation.
